1. Who We Are
Nearside Systems LLC ("Nearside", "we", "us") operates the platform at nearside.pro and the candidate application at nearside.pro/apply. We connect remote professionals in Latin America with U.S. and Canadian employers through an Employer of Record (EOR) model.
2. Data We Collect
When you submit a candidate application, we collect:
- Identity: first name, last name, email address, WhatsApp number
- Location: country, city, timezone
- Work preferences: availability, start date, salary expectation
- Technical setup: computer specs, internet type, workspace details
- Professional background: years of experience, work types, tools, industries
- Language proficiency: English level and written sample
- Situational responses and personal profile answers
- Video introduction: recorded video file stored securely
- Consent metadata: IP address, browser user agent, consent timestamp
3. How We Use Your Data
- Profile evaluation: Nara (our AI system) analyzes your application to generate a structured candidate profile and match score.
- Job matching: Your profile is used to match you with remote opportunities that fit your skills, experience, and availability.
- EOR onboarding: If matched and hired, your data is shared with the authorized EOR provider in your country for employment compliance.
- Communication: We send you application status updates and match notifications via email or WhatsApp.
4. Who We Share Your Data With
- Nearside clients (employers): Clients see an anonymized profile — your skills, experience, video, and match score — without your full name, contact details, or exact location until a mutual match is confirmed.
- EOR providers: Once you are matched and accepted, the authorized EOR in your country receives your full profile and documents for employment contracting purposes.
- No data sales: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) for structured data and Supabase Storage for video files. Both services use encryption at rest and in transit.
6. Data Retention
We retain your candidate profile and application data for 12 to 18 months from the date of submission, or until you request deletion. If you are hired through Nearside, employment records are retained as required by applicable law.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your profile and all associated data

8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and row-level security on our database. Access to candidate data is restricted to authorized Nearside team members and verified clients.
